Led floodlights come in many shapes and sizes. What they all have in common is the ability to produce a great deal of light without using large amounts of energy or creating unwanted heat. They also outlast all other forms of high power lighting by a factor of between 5 and ten, which can save a great deal of money when maintenance costs are considered.

They can be used inside or out and can be used in combination with other forms of lighting to give a multi-stage effect which stays on at a relatively low level ( for maximum energy saving) and then steps up to a high level when there is any activity in the area. Unlike most other types of floodlights, LED units can be turned on and off as often as you like without shortening the life and the instant light effect makes them especially useful in this sort of use or just for security.
