It is rare, when there are many of them, for all to be working perfectly, with flickering, dead lamps and glare a constant factor. They have improved enormously in recent years, but will eventually be completely replaced by LED panel lights.

The most obvious different with these is the pleasant and even way the light is distributed, with no glare. They are also neat, dust-free, and present no homes for itinerant spiders. They use a fraction of the energy of conventional lighting, and with 50,000 hours between visits from the maintenance man, give many years of trouble-free use.
